paipoglide is an attempt to make sense of a dream I had 4 years ago - that I should make surfboards and surf them... ...today I am making paipo surfboards and surfing them and the stoke that I get from that is incredible!

what is a paipo board?

paipo is probably the earliest version of the surfboard.

^{a paipo glide board has been handcrafted using wood, glass and epoxy. the board is hollow. i design the boards to be as light as possible without compromising strength. the boards are thin but still provide buoyancy though not as much as a bodyboard. because of this and the board's pointed nose, paddling out to the lineup and duck diving is made easier There are very few websites about paipos and paipoboarding which means that only the very persistant or lucky get to find out how cool paipo really is.}
