...just want to share info about a site:

(Sadly Chris passed away on 16 December 2007 doing what he loved, he will be sadly missed by the Paipo community).
I haven't read your article but the boards look very cool. It's really interesting to see people doing something out of the norm when it comes to surfing. We all get stuck in the same mindset of what constitutes a good riding board (me included). It's nice to see something different from time to time.
Good job guys.
be careful.
paipos attract frisky manatees.
Andy,
Love the Paipo's. Great job on the boards.
I think i'm gonna give one a go later this month.
What are the overall dimensions of your last board. I was thinking about 2 inches thick, 24 inches wide, 22 inch nose and 20 inch tail, maybe 3 feet long. How does that sound?
Cool work man, dig the vibe.

Dear Andy,
Wow, what nice boards. It is such a stoke for me to see others pursuing the same feeling. I make lots of types of surfboards but I don’t enjoy any of them more than sliding on my belly on a two foot shore break on my little Alaia.
Are your boards hollow? Do you have a bung for them?
I have been making some very thin boards and finding that I really like the flex. With these boards the feeling is more like bodysurfing...
Good work and I hope it goes well for you!
Sincerely,

beautifull craftmanship. Great to look at! How do they ride? How much float do they have? Better not drop in on a nose like this :D
Dude,
That's a beautifull, beautifull thing you've made there.
Great craftsmanship.
Now selling that as art would probably be more profitable.
This years turner prize ?
Ahh... no sorry. Only unmade beds, videos of yourself dressed in a monkey suit wandering the art gallery or a turd in can could only be regarded as "Real Art" and worthy of £££££££.
It's a messed up world.
Those gorgeous boards!
Hi Andy,
Felt compelled to drop you a line about the awesome boards you're building. Very beautiful. If they perform as well as they look then the stoke from riding them must be huge!
I'm desperate to own one. I'm taken with b3 or b4 , whichever is the larger but I'd like to know a bit more about the bouyancy, dimensions & weight etc. and whether you have any other design ideas up your sleeve. Although the wonderful shape you have there looks unbeatable. Simple and very ancient looking. I can imagine the early Polynesians or Hawaiians using boards just like yours. Let me know more please. I guess you'd better give me some idea of the price of perfection as well!
All the best,
Brooky
