the global drive for sustainability and the closure of major blank maufacturers like Clark foam are inevitably forcing shapers to source alternative materials. accomplished shapers like paul jensen and tom wegener have demonstrated how it is possible to make performance boards out of wood

the paipo boards are hollow, currently

made of ply, epoxy and glass

...I hope that each board improves on its predecessor - this one does not require so much buoyancy so the next is thinner, the next, thinner still. the properties of the wood feed the shape - can i bend this some more? will it break? yes it does, and i start over.
